What the Survey Covers
Our surveyor takes moisture readings at several heights on each affected wall. A single reading at skirting level is how misdiagnoses happen.
Moisture gradient reveals the actual cause
Genuine rising damp produces a specific moisture gradient rising from the floor. Condensation and penetrating damp produce completely different profiles on the meter.
External envelope inspection
The inspection covers gutters, downpipes, ground levels, pointing condition, render integrity, and air brick placement. Where our surveyor finds a simple external cause, the fix is maintenance rather than invasive treatment.
DPC bridging check
