What the survey involves
Moisture profiling at multiple heights
We take readings from low on the wall up through mid-height. The pattern of those readings identifies the type and source of moisture. A single reading near the skirting board is how misdiagnoses happen.
External envelope inspection
We check gutters, downpipes, pointing condition, render integrity, ground levels, and air brick placement. Many internal damp problems have a straightforward external cause. We tell you when that is the case.
Written photo report
Moisture readings, external findings, and the identified cause, all issued in a written report whatever we find. The report is yours to keep and share.
Findings discussed on site
The surveyor discusses findings before leaving. The written report is issued separately and is yours to keep and share with whoever you need to.
